This is not just an exhibit—it’s an escape. For The Love of Blaq Art is a three-day cultural experience honoring the vibrant creativity of Black artists in the Twin Cities.
The celebration begins on February 27th with an unforgettable night of poetry, featuring the powerful words of A.E. Wynter, Jerome Hill Artist Fellow 2024–2028, along with seangarrison and other dynamic voices. Then, on February 28th, the exhibit officially opens, showcasing the stunning works of seangarrison, Andrew Hammond, Karen Caldwell, Beverly Tipton-Hammond, and Jorie Engstrom—a collective of visionary artists whose work embodies resilience, culture, and storytelling.
Art and poetry are inseparable—one cannot exist without the other. Join us for this immersive experience that blends color, rhythm, and emotion into a celebration of Black artistry.
