Sonja is a Signature Member and Past President of the Minnesota Watercolor Society and a Signature Member of the Red River Watercolor Society. Her work has received numerous awards in local and national juried shows. She teaches watercolor painting at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts, the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Hopkins Center for the Arts and holds workshops for organizations and clubs by special request.

For me, watercolor is where spontaneity and intention collide to capture the essence of a character, embrace an intangible concept or highlight natures beauty.

Studio Hours: First Thursdays 6:00 - 9:00 pm, Open Saturdays noon - 4:00 pm and extended hours as well as by appointment.
