Patrizia Vignola, a Minnesota-based, award-winning artist, with an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, explores emotional and philosophical dimensions in her figurative realism. Beyond traditional portraiture, her symbolic and surreal work delves into the human condition, consciousness, identity, interconnectedness, and purpose.

Through her signature, masterfully executed and symbolic ruff collars Patrizia’s “portraits” innovatively combine traditional methods with a contemporary, critical examination of societal norms, status, and wealth. Her surreal works explore themes of birth circumstances, emotions, identity, interconnectedness, and provoke thoughts on the human experience.
