For over two decades the urban environment has provided a vehicle for Matthew Madson's studies of color, composition and mood. His work is in numerous private collections across the US, as well as the permanent collections of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, Coffman Union at the University of Minnesota, Brighton Development of Minneapolis, and the Minneapolis Public Library - Northeast Branch.
