Mary is inspired by nature and the organic process of change within that environment. To her, that process might include the soft, ghostly, shimmering light in a wooded area or on a field of native grasses. The process of nature might be captured in the decaying and newborn textures of tree bark or manifest in streaks of paint, dripping with the pull of gravity to create a record of nature's time.
