AMY TILLOTSON is a mixed-media visual artist with a natural curiosity for new materials and techniques as seen in her mixed media and mono printing works. By experimenting and combining media she is able to satisfy her need for depth of color and surface dimension.

Amy’s abstract art is influenced by her past profession as an exhibit, set and graphic designer, where she was introduced to 2D and 3D processes. Working primarily in acrylic and collage, her work is mostly non-representational.  Amy tries to capture the energy of her movements always letting intuition be her guide. Collaged papers and mark making add a graphic dynamic to her work.

Amy has exhibited regionally in both solo and group shows.  Her work can be viewed in her NE Minneapolis studio gallery, Northrup King Building, Studio 141.  Commissions accepted.
